I first picked up a camera in 2006, when I was student at the University of Salford. At the time, I wanted to be an actor, but it turns out I’m not very good at acting, so that didn’t really work out. I went on to study an MA in Arts Management at the University of Manchester, after which I decided photography was the career for me.
My job has taken me all over the world, and I’ve met some amazing people. I’ve got drunk with the hyenas from Broadway’s The Lion King, I’ve partied with Kanyé West’s backing dancers. I’ve chatted to an astronaut about Led Zeppelin and Queen. I’ve set a car on fire photographing award winning comedians. I’ve shot on top of a moving Land Rover, and nearly had my head kicked in by an angry horse.
