BBC Philharmonic Orchestra: 2026/27 Season
Brand! New! Work! I’m so proud to present to you - ‘LIVE. ON AIR. EVERYWHERE.’ The new season for the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra (@bbcphilharmonic).
In November last year, myself and my wonderful team spent the day with the musicians of the BBC Phil, and what a tremendous privilege it was. Inspired by rehearsal images from the 1950s and 60s, the concept was simple - to recreate the atmosphere of the rehearsal process that leads to so much incredible music. We shot twenty four musicians in the rehearsal studios at Dock10, Media City, where the musicians regularly rehearse (and perform!), and I couldn’t be happier with the final results. I’ll be sharing more images, BTS, and maybe even some video from the shoot over the coming weeks, but for now, enjoy!

Worth its weight in gold! And finally, thank you to the amazing musicians who volunteered to be put in harm’s way by allowing themselves to be photographed by me (I’m joking of course!!).
