Personal Work: Emily Suzuki

A new editorial today, this time shot with the incredible Emily Suzuki @emily_suzuki_.

I first met Emily last year when I was commissioned to shoot the new season at English National Ballet (@englishnationalballet) - you may have even seen her on the poster for the 10 year anniversary of Akram Khan’s ‘Giselle’, which I shot last Summer). Emily is first soloist with the company, and so when it came to making personal work in 2026, she felt like such a natural choice. The work is presented in five looks, charting the hero’s journey - from the call to adventure, through to the road of trials and the descent into the cave, and finally the return; ever changed.
