KEEP BRITAIN TIDY

The Great British Spring Clean has been running since 2016 and, over that period, more than 4.5 million bags of litter have been pledged to be collected. Led by Keep Britain Tidy, the campaign is recognised as the nation’s largest mass-action environmental initiative, bringing together individuals, communities, schools, and organisations around a shared goal.

The scale of the impact is driven by small, individual actions taken by hundreds of thousands of participants, known as ‘Litter Heroes’ who feature in these images.

As part of the campaign, I was approached to photograph the official campaign imagery. These images were published nationwide and displayed at the Houses of Parliament, extending the reach of the campaign and reinforcing its message at a national level.
