The Galapagos Islands
The Galapagos is a volcanic archipelago in the Pacific Ocean, around 1000km off the coast of Ecuador. Its isolated terrain shelters a diversity of plant and animal species, of which many are unique to the islands. The islands are probably best known for being the inspiration for Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution. I had the pleasure of spending around 12 days on and around the islands, and this is a selection of my favourite images.
