Summer is upon us, and WOW do I have some work to share with you!
I'm so excited to be able to share two new campaigns: the rebrand of The Hallé Orchestra, and the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra's 2026–27 season. Both went live on the same day, which was incredibly exciting!
And as well — there's a bit of English National Opera chucked in for good measure. What a year it's turning out to be!
ENGLISH NATIONAL OPERA:
‘ANGEL’S BONE’ Key Art
April saw the unveiling of the key art for ‘Angel’s Bone’, the Pulitzer Prize-winning opera that has just had its UK debut at Factory International (which I was very fortunate to attend!). A beautifully simple lighting setup, a fantastic model, and some fabulous glitchy post-production from the brilliant team at EDIT brought everything together. And what a treat to see the images plastered all over Manchester!
BBC PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA:
2026–2027 Season
Next up: the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra! Inspired by rehearsal images from the 1950s and 60s, this was all about recreating the atmosphere around the rehearsal process. With 24 musicians, we got through 16 setups in just 8 hours(!)
THE HALLÉ ORCHESTRA:
Rebrand 2026
The Hallé! Ahead of their 2026–27 season launch, I shot the imagery for The Hallé’s new branding. Shot right here in Manchester, it was fantastic working alongside the brilliant team at the Hallé, as well as the fabulous EDIT Brand Studio, on a refreshed visual identity built around their iconic ‘H’. World-class musicians, beautiful design — another normal day in the office(!)
So there we have it!
And as if I’m not busy enough, I managed to find time to add ‘flower arranging’ to my CV.
